Bloodborne Pathogens

This class is designed to give Traditional Tattoo Artists, Professional Piercers & Studio Owners the essential information needed to keep themselves and their work enviroment safe and in compliance with:
Federal OSHA Bloodborne pathogens standard (29 CFT 1910.1030)
State of Michigan MIOSHA Part 554 Bloodborne Infectious Diseases
Michigan Department of Community Health requirements for body art facilities
Each participant will recieve the most current, up to date information available as it applies to the traditional tattoo and professional piercing industries. Price includes all course materials, free product samples, and a certificate of training.

This seminar is based around Damiens experience in painting in oils. Damien will be offering tips and tricks he has learned along his way. Its a very complicated medium, involving an endless ocean of medium, technique, style, and material. In this seminar Damien will be showing a series of steps, from start to finish, using different mediums, showing how to use glazes to create tone, depth, atmosphere...Damien will also be explaining materials, and his approach to working with them. Being that it is such a vast subject this seminar will primarily focus on use of the medium within the time constraints allowed.

The Tattooist's Palette - Color Theory & Practical Application:
In this inspiring course, Rubss Abbott will take you past the color wheel to a deeper understanding of a tattooist's palette. Using examples from his own work, russ will explain a variety of color secrets that will help make your work more interesting and effective. The course will cover color theory and blending, color selection, application, special effects, and tattooing for longevity. There is a full color booklet included with the course. A stripped down look at the basics of acrylic painting. Focusing on elements such as setting up a proper palette, materials, and brush control. This seminar will also help you develop techniques such as transparent layering and dry brush all towards the goal of achieving photo realism.
